Projects Worked

  • Migrated CSM/SSLM code to ACE module code in test and production environments, involving 750+ servers, 1,000+ virtual servers and 80,000+ lines of new code.
  • Installed and configured IP Telephony solution for 6 sites, built around POTS lines and PRI lines, Frame-Relay WAN, and remote survivability. Installed and configured new switching/routing infrastructure to provide enhanced QoS throughout the system.
  • Installed and configured remote access solutions, including an AS5350 access server and 3005 VPN concentrator.
  • Installed IP Telephony system for a new high school, utilizing Cisco Call Manager 3.3
  • Installed a new network infrastructure for an Illinois college, consisting of a Cisco 6509 core switch with 3550-SMI edge switches. Moved existing network from a flat 800-900 node network to a routed and switched network for improved performance and configured network monitoring via CiscoWorks.
  • Installed and configured a new network infrastructure for an Illinois college, including Compaq SAN, Compaq server, Compaq robotic tape library, Cisco router, Cisco switch and Cisco firewall hardware.
  • Worked with other engineers to install and configure a 27 site regional network for a bank in Illinois, including Compaq server, Compaq robotic tape library, Cisco router, Cisco switch and Cisco firewall hardware. Configured IIS and Exchange for outside (Internet) connectivity. Modified new infrastructure to support dial-up ISP services to their customers. Utilized Cisco 1750/51, 2650/51 and 7206-VXR routers in combination with a Cisco 4006 switch, Cisco 3524-XL switches, and Cisco AS5350 access server to improve performance over old design.
